All the 'serious' runners line up with Marshall & Stormy.
St. Timothy's Schoolorganized a 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run that was held on April 1st in Raleigh. All proceeds from the race were donated to the Marshall Taylor Transplant Fund administered by the National Transplant Assistance Fund. Over 550 runners and walkers participated. Dozens of race sponsors gave money, race prizes, and time to cover all expenses for the event so that 100% of the race proceeds could be donated to this charity. Stormy, the Carolina Hurricanes mascot, was at the event and was a big hit with children and adults alike. Madison and Dave from Sunny Radio, 93.9 FM in Raleigh, came to greet all the participants. The event was a huge success. Click Here to go to the Spring Sprint picture page. A big HUG and THANK YOU to all who helped and participated.

"Don't take your organs to heaven; heaven knows we need them here!"
This site was made possible by a very generous donation. The anonymous donor said, "I want this site to help Marshall and as many other transplant patients as possible." We are honored and humbled as recipients of this gift and we will make every effort to insure that many others in the transplant community are helped through this site. If you have suggestions about how this site can best benefit the whole community, please go to the REQUEST INFO page and send us your comments.
